Getting to know Susano's work and be one of his millions followers (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter), or having one of the thousands of tattoos of his works, to contribute with more than one of the uncountable sharings and reposts during the pandemic, is the natural way of getting inside this universe, full of references of the greatest painting masters, literature, psychoanalysis, philosophy, influenced by the Brazilian Popular Music (MPB), especially for the “determined pursuit for the perfection" of João Gilberto and the Novos Baianos popularity. Goes from Caravaggio to Salvador DalÃ, Nietsche and Dostoiévski, bewitchment of his fellow Franklin Cascaes. Susano has academic rigour - Degree in Visual Arts (UDESC/2015), masters different techniques and applies them with a geniu's authenticity. Susano Correia has captured the spirit of the time, translated through images, titles and texts the feeling of the contemporaneity, matters that were once taboo, and now have a universal sign: the man with the cone head, Melancholy, anguish, depression, suffering, chaos, disorder, brutality, barbarism - are approached denuded in the original works of this Collection.
