Biography

Laurent Mangepapier's family has been a painter from father to son. It was therefore natural for him to gravitate toward this discipline from a very young age.

Born in 1970, this entirely self-taught artist works around his various favorite themes: history, women and the mystique of death are his main sources of inspiration.

From 1993 to 1999, he painted a 70m² fresco depicting the history of humanity on a ceiling in Villechauve (41). Since then, he has exhibited in Meung-sur-Loire (45) and Gargilesse (36), among others. He has also designed various posters and paintings for museums.

He is also an actor, director, and puppeteer, which nourishes his work as a painter. Conversely, this allows him to create sets and puppets.
