Biography
Born in 1975 in Saint-Malo, Yvan Richeux-Rey is a contemporary colourist painter whose art works are divided between a pure abstraction and a semi-figuration. He works on canvas and on crumpled sheet using mostly oil painting. Painter of purely human emotion, colors, forms and matter are the authentic expression of creative feelings, arising from the depths of himself and from deep sensitivity His painting is physical. It starts from a powerful gesture, generating large movements on the canvas and releasing a force that captures the attention. His pictorial expression is constantly renewed, according to his own inspiration.
