Laura Samori

Laura Samori was born in 1993 in Dijon, she lives and works between Paris and Toulouse. Passionate about the visual arts, she has been practicing painting and photography for several years. Enriched by studies of art history, Laura is currently working on formal structures conducive to dreams using the power of colors. Its different forms of expression are recognized by a spatial or dreamlike character, a smooth touch with marked contours.

Laura Samori's artistic concerns relate to several themes which come together around the notion of frames, structures, which play with the subtlety of details. His compositions recall the movement of geometric abstraction and sometimes surrealism. Color takes precedence in his works where the mathematical character is punctuated by the fluidity of the curved lines which give rhythm to his works.
