Biography
Véronique Potiron was born in 1983.
She graduated from the Art School in Aix-en-Provence in 2009.
Her painting deals with the issue of the memory and takes the challenge of working with images belonging to the collective subconsicous that have become invisible because of their excessive visibility. In her gray and pink compositions, "the colors which taste like remembrance..." as she likes to call them, Véronique Potiron makes her characters vibrate again by juxtaposition them to others, belonging to a different space and time.
Her attempt to reanimate "the relic image" today is both nostalgic and optimistic .
