Biography
Born in Saumur, Touraine in 1929.
André Brasilier enters the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in 1949 and won the Prix Florence Blumenthal in 1952, and the first large painting of Rome Prize the following year, he resides in Rome at the Villa Medici from 1954 to 1957.
His artistic life always involves a perpetual geographical displacement contacts the omnipresent nature around every house - workshops.
