Did she invent the "serial engraving" ? Her series Météores, initiated in 2011 and still ongoing, counts 52 light phenomena superimposed on the same copper plate !
Unlike Pierre Soulages who had so much looked for the black in his engraving that he had found the white (the acid having finally pierced the plate), by dint of overlaying the light of her meteors, will Silene Audibert reach the celestial black ? To follow... absolutely.
