Biography
Pascaline Marre is a French artist who lives and works in Paris.
Her photography explores the disappearance, real or imaginary, historical or fantasized, focusing on man's relation to his geographical environment and his history. This quest has led her from rural France (Les Bonales, peasants from the Quercy-blanc, short-listed for the Bleustein-Blanchet price, 2001), to La Courneuve, a north-parisian suburb ; from Lebanon to Armenia or Turkey, and more recently to her family home.
