Biography
Frédéric Clavère has a vision of the world of a completely different color than the candy pink of ready-to-wear happiness. Its light and its color are those, black, of the violence of the most deadly impulses and of humor. His paintings, his drawings and his installations project us with diabolical efficiency into "paintings" which sell men in erotic-sadistic ceremonies that function as small theaters of crime. Frédéric Clavère was born in 1962 in Toulouse, he lives in Marseille and teaches at the Villa Arson in Nice.
