Biography
Karine Péron Le Ouay began photography at the age of eight, when her father, who was passionate about images, gave her a first film camera. She photographs her childhood in South America then back in France, is passionate about portraiture. Musical studies at a conservatory and a diploma in information and communication techniques from Celsa Paris IV Sorbonne led her to communication professions, in the industrial and then cultural sector with musicians. Photography permeates this journey. In 2018, she decided to devote herself entirely to photography, after the presentation of a photo prize by the daughters of Robert Doisneau. The series "Variations around a ray of sunshine" produced during the first confinement was noticed by the specialized press which relayed its work through the publication of numerous articles. Exhibitions in Paris followed.
