Biography
Kristina Girke is a German painter born in 1968. She studied medicine and then turned towards art, which she studied at the University of Arts of Berlin. She still lives and works in the German capital.
Her approach goes beyond the abstraction/figuration debate. The artist lets herself be guided by her inspiration and the aesthetic exploration of color and shapes.
Her work has been the object of twenty solo exhibitions and about thirty group exhibitions, in Germany as well as abroad, in Korea, the United States, Spain and Portugal.
