Biography

Massimiliano Marraffa was born on February 10th, 1968 in Alberobello, Italy. He has lived and worked in Paris since 1997, he graduated in photography from the Faculty of Art, Philosophy and Aesthetics Paris VIII. He began a career as a photojournalist before devoting himself to photographic projects where capturing the everyday and the infra-ordinary is the way to play on the boundaries of public space. Many of these participatory projects have received support from French and European public institutions.
