Biography

Known for his recreations of diorama maps, Sohei Nishino is a Japanese artist. Currently living and working in Shizuoka, Nishino has developed a multidisciplinary approach to art to reimagine cities and other places that he has visited.

The artist has held a number of group and solo exhibitions at some major institutions across the globe. Some notable galleries include San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, and International Center of Photography in New York City.
