WIES?AW SZAMBORSKI (born in 1941)
Wies?aw Szamborski graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1966. He is a professor of painting at the Academy. He cooperated with Marek Sapetto – the artist with a similar manner of painting. His art is classified as realistic. Since the 1960s, he has been painting figurative compositions in sharp colors. His paintings are records of everyday life and are the examples of journalistic painting. Szamborski’s works were presented, among others, in the Zach?ta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw.
