Biography
Wojciech Rukujzo is a Polish artist, born in 1983. He studied painting at the European academy of Fine Arts at professor Antoni Falat's studio.
Wojciech Mikolaj Rukujzo's painting is unequivocal. Initially, one notices a reference hinting surrealism. On one hand, one sees a tribute to Salvador Dali and his deserted sunny landscapes, but cold when barren and not natural. On the other hand, one sees the fantastic tradition, a little reflection and a lot of questions due to these mysterious and frozen characters, who he paints extremely well. He has a passion for the theme of women, he depicts them as fighters, dreamy or impish, and emphasizes on details due to which the spectator needs to remain in front of the painting for a while, to grasp these features.
