Biography
Dominika Stanczak is a Polish artist currently based in Vienna which has been her home for the last 10 years. She was raised in Germany, went to school in Poland but finally moved to Denmark where she graduated from a Folk High School specialized in Art, Theatre and World Dance.
Her art is a manifestation of the Feminine trying to find new liberated ways of living in modern society. She experiments with different styles but what is common to all her works, is using strong colours as means of screaming out emotions normally suppressed and not accepted by societal rules. Art speaks out truths, humans are too afraid to speak out loud, she says.
