Biography
Eskill Fraenkel is a visual artist born in Victoria, an island situated in west Vancouver. Since very early, he is passionated about nature, its colors, its beauty and its light. His parents who were hotel owners took him with them on their journey around the world: France, the United States, England, Portugal, Belgium, Canada... Little Eskill travelled incessantly, having as a reference painting, which never leaves him. He currently lives and works in Lausanne, Switzerland.
To create his pieces, Eskill Fraenkel gets inspired by his environment, which he is constantly analyzing. His colorful creations resemble sketches. Trying to represent life, to give a precise moment or simply sharing a memory, Eskill Fraenkel gives the viewer a joyful, modern and bright work. The use of colors participates in the creation of an undefinable universe and a style that is perfectly recognizable.
