Collaboration with Céline Gélis.
This work skillfully fuses classical architecture and pop culture. Dominating the scene, a Gothic cathedral stands majestically, drawn in black and white with precise, realistic details. Superimposed on this, bright pink splashes and strokes add a bold, modern dynamic. In the foreground, the Pink Panther, an icon of animation, observes curiously, introducing a striking and playful contrast. Pink building elements seem to emerge from the architecture, symbolizing a fusion of past and present. Around it, urban life is vividly sketched, capturing a bustling scene. The interplay between the building's timeless elegance and the Panther's colorful irreverence creates a work that is both harmonious and provocative, questioning our perceptions of heritage and innovation.
Presentation
Currently, my work is articulated between these pop diversions, canvases where the pop spirit is more present, and more direct drawings with Posca. I like my works to reflect a certain vitality, which is why you will often find bright colors, sometimes even fluorescent, and plays of light that bring dynamism. My goal is for color and energy to be felt in each piece.
