Carole Melmoux

Born in 1967 - France

Born in 1967, Carole Melmoux is a French painter.

She studied modern literature in Paris, practices classic dance at the national conservatory and has followed painting lessons during ten years with the artist Philippe Lejeune.

Carole Melmoux shows her interest in motifs, reality, memories and the imaginary. Having dance in her blood, movements and fluidity are two key concepts in her pictorial representations. From her work emerges a musical tone more or less pronounced but also poetry coming from her studies in literature.
Her work can be presented as the merger of these three arts: music, dancing and painting.

Carole Melmoux is an open minded artist on the world, everything inspires her: human beings, nature, and urban landscapes. She is the testimony of our modern society, of its evils and its joys.
