Biography

Frédérique Lucien was born in 1960. Her work situated between abstraction and reality, deals with a world in the margins of vegetable, mineral and the body.
Her questioning on the notions of line, outline, curves, and, although she uses drawing-paper or paint, pastel, charcoal, or gouache, she is definitively to be considered as a draftswoman.
Represented in very numerous museums and public and private collections, she has been several times requested to realize editions. During her exhibition in Zadkine Museum ( Paris, 2012 ), we were able to discover her ceramics
"Petit feuiller", her six passage lithography printed by ARTE (Paris) in 2016, directly arises from her two drawings series "Feuiller" of 2012.
