Frank Jons

France Born in: 1964
Frank Jons is a French painter born in 1964. He has a degree in finance and accounting, which he put on the side in 1996 in order to dedicate to painting, for which he developed a real passion over the years. A visit to the exhibition of Maurice Estève's work at the Grand Palais was a real revelation for him.

Self-taught, he is passionate about color, which plays a main role in all his creations. "There is some sort of frenzy, a sort of trance when I paint, a kind of exaltation. Which is only energy and I want to liberate it from all constraint", says the artist to explain his artistic approach.

In 2008, Frank Jons won the Pierre Werner Prize, which made him famous in the artistic scene in Luxembourg. Since then, he exhibits his work mainly in France and Luxembourg.
