It is about taking advantage of the "white days" to exacerbate the lines and the graphic aspect of buildings and buildings. Sometimes the contrast is accentuated to focus the gaze only on essential lines. If the added value is real, the print on brushed aluminum allows you to play with the photographic object to reproduce the sensations experienced at the real location. Aesthetics and everyday geometry is the common thread of ImaGilaire, a couple of photographers who seek visual beauty at the end of their street, along the roads they regularly take. Change perspectives, raise your head or lower it, even if it means lying on the ground to discover the world differently. A favorite theme is architecture. The presentation techniques are multiple but always guided by a single concern: that the pictorial and photographic work can be considered as a palpable object in accordance with their plastic approach. There is therefore no intermediary between the eye and what it is looking at. The square format is one of the components of their work that they sometimes offer in the form of composition. The printing mode allows the setting in generally hostile environment for a photograph (bathroom, pond, garden etc.) - ImaGilaire

Imagilaire is a group that has done numerous exhibitions, sometimes in collaboration with architects or with big engineering schools, students of elementary school or even with centers of disabled people. Imagilaire is known, among others ,as the finalist of the photo contest of the Rock en Seine Festival.

Architecture is the group's favorite subject, especially through the roads. With their photographic camera, they inspect the sidewalks which they stride with insatiable curiosity. The sense of aesthetic detail and geometric constructions play a main role in the work of Imagilaire.

In 2015, they did photographic prints on brushed aluminium, where white was replaced by the raw aspect of aluminium, whether to resemble an element of the original building or to create a metallic illusion and divert the image. In 2008, they did an exhibition "Sur la Corde" in Carhaix. A year later, they did a solo exhibition "The Concerts of Longjumeau" and continue exhibiting their work to this day..
