    Amore, 4/8 available

The sculpture “Amore” depicts how a metamorphosis occurs between the love and the passion of two lovers while expressing a subtle feeling of love.

In this sculpture Carbonell gives validity to his infinite capacity to give form to extreme stylization without the diminishing or adulteration of the identity of the image or composition. An intrinsic quality in Carbonell’s works is his subordination of the anatomy to the sublimation of the form.

In Carbonell’s work you can experience in his personal style the monumentality of Moore and the simplicity found on the works of Brancusi, Archipenko and Arp but in the quality of its form, Carbonell represents, a very different, and distinctive personal style, which makes his work highly recognizable and defines his own art.

And yet, what will make Carbonell’s expressions transcend into posterity, is the consistency in the originality of his creations, the uniqueness of his interpretations and the sense of universal beauty that Carbonell imparted to his work……….

Internationally renowned sculptor Manuel Carbonell's
sculptures are found in important private, corporate and museum collections,
such as the 53-foot bronze monument "Tequesta Family" located at the
Brickell Avenue Bridge, Miami, Florida  and the 21-foot bronze monument "El
Centinela Del Rio" in Brickell Key at the entrance of the Miami River,
Miami, Florida.

His contemporary monumental sculptures are found in lobbies
and grounds of hotels such as the Mandarin Oriental Miami, The Ritz-Carlton
Hotel, Bangalore, India and The Buenaventura Golf and Beach Resort, Marriot Autograph
Collection, Republic of Panama and spaces as in Xijuahui Park, Shanghai, China
and Les Jardins du Chateau de Vullierens, Switzerland.

As we approach the works of Carbonell we encounter a life of
total dedication and commitment to his art. This combined with an exceptional
artistic talent and a solid academic background is what defines Carbonell's

Influenced by his former Professor Jose Sicres, a disciple
of Bourdelle, in Carbonell's commissioned
work you can experience the influence of Rodin and Bourdelle, but in his very unique
contemporary personal style you can experience the monumentality of Moore and
the simplicity found in the works of Brancusi, Archipenko and Arp.

In the quality of its form, Carbonell represents a very
different and distinctive personal style which makes his work highly
recognizable, defines his own art and creates transcendence and permanence in
the art world.

And yet, what defines Carbonell's artistic expression is the
consistency in the originality of his creations, the uniqueness of his
interpretations and the sense of "Universal Beauty" that he imparted
to his work.
