Serge Hamad es un artista visual autodidacta franco / argelino afincado en Nueva York.
El artista comenzó a fotografiar a una edad muy temprana cubriendo zonas de conflicto e informando sobre situaciones sociopolíticas como en Irak, los Balcanes ...

Serge Hamad también deja espacio en su obra para platos más desenfadados. Al convertir una imagen realista y expresiva en abstracción, cambia los colores y los difumina en la realidad entre la fotografía y la representación digital en su serie Percepción temporal. Cuando se ven por primera vez de un vistazo, las obras de arte parecen formar una entidad. “Es justo cuando nuestro cerebro comienza a analizar nuestra visión que entendemos cómo perdimos nuestra infancia". Dice el artista.
En 2010, Serge Hamad dedicó su tiempo principalmente a la fotografía de Bellas Artes. Desde entonces, su trabajo ha sido exhibido en varias galerías en los Estados Unidos, así como a nivel internacional y subastado en Paddle 8, Artsy, Christie's London, Sotheby's House y la Robert Wilson's Water Mill Foundation.
