Canadian artist born in Cuba, currently working and living in Toronto, Canada.
The artist had developed multiple bodies of work exploring poetical strategies to express psychological, social or political concepts over general art themes such as landscape, abstraction, or still life. In his art, the artist studied the art language by incorporating a diversity of mediums like painting, photography, drawing, and sculpture.
   Serrano's artworks are exhibited worldwide, including major art fairs such as The Armory show New York, Art Basel Miami, Arco Madrid, Art Hong Kong Artbart Germany, and Toronto Art Fair.
The artist has exhibited at important art institutions, including Contemporary Art Center Wifredo Lam, Havana Biennale, Cuba Phototeca, Galleria Havana, la Acacia, Center for the Development of the Visual Art, la Casona Art Gallery, Corking gallery.
