Biographie

"BJ est la lumière & Richeille est le pigment"

BJ Formento et Richeille Formento sont un couple de photographes, il est né à Hawaii et a grandi aux Philippines, a étudié à San Francisco et a déménagé à New York en 1999. Née à Londres, elle a fréquenté le prestigieux Central St. Martins College of Art avant de travailler comme directrice artistique et designer dans l'industrie de la mode.

Formento & Formento sont connus pour leurs photographies romantiques et élégantes qui explorent dans des scènes cinématographiques désaturées, les thèmes de l'amour, du désir et du fardeau de la mémoire. Leur style révèle une fascination pour l'ambiance et la texture, et le sens du lieu y est très présent.

De l'Amérique, Cuba, le Mexique, l'Inde au Japon, ils allient une passion fervente pour la photographie et le cinéma à un amour durable les uns pour les autres.
