Biographie

Je prends des photos. Je fais des images. Contrairement au film, qui vous submerge de mouvement et de son, définissant le moment en cours, une photo reste là tranquillement pendant que vous décidez de ce qu'elle dit.


Je crois fermement que les artistes doivent toujours participer à une conversation et partager des idées provocantes. Mon idée est celle de l'esthétique et de l'autonomisation pour un monde meilleur. J'espère qu'avec mon travail, les populations autochtones éloignées (dans de nombreux cas sans perspective mondiale) auront une meilleure idée de leur caractère unique et de leur importance dans le monde dans lequel nous vivons tous, ce qui les aidera à être plus résilientes aux pressions qui les entourent. .


Cette documentation artistique personnelle est un moyen de rallumer le feu et la fierté au sein et pour les peuples autochtones, de créer un respect mutuel pour tous les peuples et de donner aux générations futures du monde entier les moyens d'illuminer leur patrimoine culturel.


Ainsi, nous verrons tous la situation dans son ensemble et resterons unis dans notre diversité, pour relever les énormes défis auxquels nous sommes confrontés en tant qu'humanité dans la décennie à venir.
