Biographie
Né à Everett, dans l'État de Washington, Michael David Walrond (né en 1986) est un talentueux photographe d'art émergent basé à Los Angeles. Sa carrière a débuté dans une agence de création spécialisée dans le stylisme, la décoration de décors et le design. En 2017, le directeur artistique, Christopher Alain Everett, l'a encouragé à se consacrer à son art et lui a offert un Leica Dlux. Il a découvert la photographie argentique l'année suivante lorsqu'un ami artiste lui a offert un Canon AE-1. Entièrement autodidacte, il a depuis été présenté lors d'expositions personnelles à San Diego et à New York, ainsi que d'expositions collectives aux États-Unis et en Europe. Son travail a été publié dans P Magazine, Osphilia, Others Magazine, Lomography, Artizians Magazine et Supersonic Art. Sa dernière monographie, « SHDWSOFDUST: A 7 Year Anthology of Analog Photography Work », a été lancée en octobre 2023 chez Snap Collective.
