Tani Telas

In the workshop of Tani Telas, in Corsica-du-Sud, the Mediterranean becomes pictorial material. The artist develops a prospective abstraction there, tense between architectural rigor and instinctive gesture — a writing recognizable in all, where emotion becomes architecture.

His work unfolds in four complementary bodies — Sillages, Altérités, Vivances, Rémanences — which alternately explore memory, encounter, the living of the depths and the coast, and the intimate resonances of memory. Each canvas imposes itself as a rare synthesis between pure emotion and the permanence of cultural roots.

With more than 200 works and a dozen exhibitions, Tani Telas is today among the singular voices of Mediterranean contemporary abstraction.
