Maxime Frairot was born in 1976 in Lyon (Rhone). He lives and works in Troyes (Aube) since January 2003.
Maxime Frairot studied Political Science. In 2002, he started painting. He draws colorful silhouettes and faces, portraits, groups of people crowded in each other, elaborated patchworks of men and women.
He creates bizarre characters and absurd family portraits. The artist is interested in the relationship between the individual and society.
