Biography
Maria Rozinski is a painter with over 40 years of experience. She graduated with a degree in Fine Arts in Minsk, Belarus, and has been creating oil paintings ever since.
In her early years, Maria's work was influenced by the avant-garde artists of the early 20th century, such as Malevich, Kandinsky, and Goncharova.
In 1990, Maria immigrated to Israel with her family. Since then, the unique nature of Israel has been a constant source of inspiration for her, shaping her work for nearly three decades.
Maria's main focus is nature. Her goal is to express the beauty of Israel's landscapes through minimalistic and abstract forms. She seeks to capture the charm of everyday moments and the simple things around us: a beam of light waking a bouquet of flowers on a windowsill, a blooming tree at a home’s entrance, or mundane objects viewed from an interesting perspective.
Abstract art is also a significant element in Maria’s paintings. She aims to bring color into homes by exploring new techniques and combining vibrant tones with the textured richness of oil paints.
Her current artistic inspirations include Giorgio Morandi, Mark Rothko, Henri Matisse, and Claude Monet.
