Elad Larom

Biography

Elad Larom (1976), Italian and Israeli artist living in Tel Aviv, works mainly with painting, apart from video, animation and photography. In 2006, Larom graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, and in 2010 he finished his master's studies at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem.

He has presented his work in several exhibitions both in Europe and in North America. Among these are "Tento # 2" in the W139 in Amsterdam, "Bezalel" in the "MICA" Tour in the Corcoran Gallery and the Maltz Museum in the USA and the FRIZE Kunstlerhaus in Hamburg. His recent solo exhibitions include "Neo Paganism" at the Inga Gallery in Tel Aviv, "Smoke Screen" at the International Studio & Curatorial Program in New York, and "I, Walid Lacham" at the New and Bad Gallery in Haifa, Israel. Larom has been the recipient of a special prize of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and another of the Nederlands Fonds for his artistic work in film.
