After studying at ENPC (National School of Photography and Cinema) in Paris, Françoise Delmas worked in different places, in particular in a fashion studio where she was able to design and paint some sets.

At the same time, while working mime at Marcel Marceau's, she regularly attended the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris.

Little by little this activity of painter imposed itself with the discovery of many artists.

While working on engraving in Roger Marage's studio, his painting, at the beginning rather figurative, turned rather quickly towards abstraction thanks to the assiduous frequentation of Parisian galleries.

We can no longer count his exhibitions.

With the biggest, of the 20th, like Soulages, Marfaing, Poliakoff, Debré ...

After several years of various exhibitions, including the abstract exhibition of Réalités Nouvelles, Françoise Delmas joined the latter's selection committee.
