Fatiha Abellache

Fatiha Abellache is a visual artist, born in 1980 in Kabylie, Algeria.

Her interest and fascination with art began from her childhood, her first influence was her father, who was a self-taught landscape painter and visual arts educator, she remembers observing with curiosity everything he did, detail by detail , set by set, to the drawing material he offered her, since she was only weaving and drawing her own universe, sad or joyful, calm or agitated, and with everything that surrounded her, everything is engraved in her distant memories, art has become for her a real remedy, a refuge and the only weapon through which she dares questions and answers, when an event or a silence arrives.

His artistic vocation manifests itself and is oriented towards various styles, the art of creativity settles at the heart of his motivations, his works are represented on various artistic creations and are reflected in particular through colors and shapes. From her inspiration springs an imposing style in a way that provokes the sensitivity of visitors, in fact the work that she does undergoes transformations and is enriched through plastic research. His concepts ardently deal with topical subjects, namely life, education, childhood, drama and beauty, the works also express other topics like love and peace. In addition, she maintains an original artistic profile, through her paintings, she invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a subject, which she illustrates through her creations.

The mediums used are, oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, collage, pigments on different supports and formats. Currently, the ideas on which she is inspired mainly come from the portrait, however, it remains a determining subject in her research.
