Jan Cornelis Van holthe (1923-1996) is a painter and sculptor from Netherlands, born in 1923 in à Surabaya, in Indonésia, he died in France in 1996 where he settled during many years. Netherlands Attaché culturel in Paris and Director of the Netherlands Institute in Paris. Den Haag daily newspaper compared him to Kokoschka.
