Description
On a background of vinyl paper color of green clouds, the artist has pasted another background, smaller, the color of dew on which elements of iridescent coral are assembled along a trellis where plant elements, metal birds, parrots, roses, bananas, strawberries which all escape from a white metal pot. It is an extraordinary garden, where, like all places in Eden, the Devil roams in the form of two transparent masks with bloody mouths. So be careful! As with all her compositions, Martine Degot composed, as an accompaniment and through the medium "the work that speaks", a sung poem that she interprets with her voice. Often, Martine Degot's paintings are inspired by her songs, the artist managing to find melodies everywhere with a deep sense of poetry.
