Biography
Vassil Stoev is a Bulgarian painter born in 1950, in Parvomai, Bulgaria.
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Sofia in 1979, Vassil Stoyev started his career as a painter doing figurative paintings. He then focused in color which took over, his pieces are marked with influences of abstract art, depicting landscapes that he creates while playing with the colors and with aerial and linear perspectives, all in one harmonious expression.
His pieces are displayed in the collections of the Tempra Museum for Contemporary Art, as well as in public collections in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Malta and Japan, as well as in several private collections.
