Biography
Theanly was born in the province of Battambang in Cambodia in 1985. He worked in Phnom Penh then moved to Battambang at the end of 2011. His paintings have already been the subject of numerous exhibitions, including several at the Java Art gallery in Phnom Penh (most recent in November 2016).
He has also exhibited in Singapore and the United States. Recently, he was one of the leading artists of two group exhibitions: Phnom Penh at the Musée de l'hospice-comtesse de Lille, France (September 2015-January 2016) and Cambodia: Looking back to the Future at the Flinn Gallery in Greenwich in the United States (May-June 2017).
