Zuyu Wang

Biography

Previously lived in three countries and seven cities by herself, Zuyu studied art, design and fashion, worked as the designer and lecturer, she was able to think about art, design, culture and life from different perspectives. She is now a full time fashion accessories designer and a freelance artist. She works on abstract forms and compositions with bold colours and imperfect shapes.

She creates artwork in series with same colour palettes and variations of shapes. And her continuous art practice also includes digital art and automatic drawings. Her artworks are also interactive and continuous with her design works. Inspired by art, she creates design, from her design work, she further develops art experiments.

My artworks explore the unlimited possibilities of shapes and colours. I present my visions through form of abstraction.
