Presentation

Agnès Lacombe is a French artist. Originally from Paris, she is now based in the Basque region, she initially made creations based on Art Brut, where only the materials and textures were given importance. Through the years, colors asserted itself and Lacombe's paintings soon became a language of forms and colors, depicting emotions of being who are confronted with the effects of life.

Her painting, style and techniques evolved on their own, through glee and fragility, these aspects are still present. A self-taught artist, she doesn't want to restrict herself to a technique, therefore her style and technique are spontaneous, she depicts raw emotions which are just waiting to be freed.
