Biography

Herrade combines in his painting the abstract and the representation, as for it sufficiently real without being really figurative. His very gestural art, all in flexibility, communicates to us his intense pleasure of expression, a spontaneous and very thoughtful outlet, without overload.

“I experienced the characters, the landscapes, the events of my paintings ... By recreating them, I tell my vision of the world. The vital impetus of beings, the dynamics of things tells their story made of differences, music and silences, made of colors and free forms. My paintings affirm an ascending dynamic, peaceful or horizontal like the skies and the landscapes which fill my memory. " HEY

Graduated from the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg (now HEAR), Herrade learned from the masters Alfred Edel, Camille Claus, François Cacheux, Camille Hirtz, Roger Cochard ... She is a member of the Association of Independent Artists of Alsace (AIDA) and regularly exhibits his work in Strasbourg and Alsace (Galerie Aeden, Galerie AIDA among other places).
