Biography
Marta Duran Quintana (Mataró, 1955) is a Catalan painter born in Mataró. She became a biologist while studying painting with the painters Pablo Mañé and Josep Maria Martínez Lozano. In 1980, she began to exhibit her work with the group Taller Pablo Mañé Mataro and won the first prize for painting in the town of Tordera. The following year, she made his first solo exhibition at the Regional Museum of Maresme in Mataró.
