Biography
Born in 1959, Pascale Badaf, self-taught, lives and works in Geneva.
Town planning and architecture are the common threads of his work; the favorite themes are industrial landscapes, refined, geometric buildings, factory chimneys, buildings, contemporary villas.
His paintings, at the intersection of the real and the imaginary, are composed of fragments of images taken from his environment: observations taken on the spot, film scenes, architectural photos, travel photos. These recomposed scattered elements, the light source and its shadows are recreated in a special atmosphere and a setting in which everyone can invent their own scenario.
