Description
The artwork “Snow White Magic” by artist Fred Meurice is a piece made of plexiglass with dimensions of 30x30x3cm. The piece is a limited edition of 6 copies, this being the 1/6 edition. The artwork depicts the figure of a perfume bottle from the brand Chanel, with a colorful background that presents soft tones of pink, blue, and red, and the face of a woman. The woman’s face appears to be emerging from the perfume itself, with her image reflected in the curves of the bottle. The artwork exudes a sense of magic and enchantment, as if the woman portrayed were a fairy or a princess in a modern-day fairy tale.
Presentation
Trained in graphic arts, Fred began his career in the world of graphic design and advertising before extending his practice to plastic and pictorial creation.
Working with wood, aluminum, resin or even plexiglass, the artist enhances each of his supports with numerous touches of acrylic paint.
Fred draws his inspiration from the wide range of visual codes and cultural references offered by our modern society to create clever paintings, resolutely pop and colorful.
