Description
This dynamic work skillfully merges contemporary art and portraiture. At its center, the face of Jean-Michel Basquiat, depicted as a boxer, stands out, its features highlighted by vibrant, colorful brushstrokes. His determined stance is framed by gleaming boxing gloves, symbols of strength and resilience. The background, an explosion of vivid colors and abstract forms, contrasts with the sharpness of the face. The ingenious use of a paneled frame evokes a window, creating a unique perspective and adding visual depth.
The 16 panels, once turned over, reveal a patchwork of works by Jean-Michel BASQUIAT.
This painting, captivating in its visual richness and contrasts, invites the viewer to explore the tension between external chaos and the subject's internal concentration.
