Antonius Kho

Antonius Kho is an established artist from Indonesia. His canvas is a mosaic of art and culture from Indonesia with a western twist - as a synthesis between eastern and western culture. He studied at the FH-Cologne Art Academy, majoring in glass paintings and textile art-tapestry. In his latest series he incorporates his knowledge skillfully. He uses mixed media such as acrylic, collages of jute, rope, modeling paste and transparent paper. As in cubism, his style is to show different viewpoints of his subject at the same time and within the same space, making a 3D impression. 

Masks are the seed for his creativity in his latest works. He uses them as a visual concept and as the main subject.
