Empi (Maurice), painter born January 31, 1933 in Saint-Etienne – Loire- (Ec. Fr.).
In 1950, he joined the studio of Gen Paul, to whom he owes his beginnings in painting. His fame began with the exhibition in 1953 in the gallery of Michel Boutin rue du Faubourg St Honoré in Paris. This was the beginning of great international successes in Stockholm, London, Tokyo…
