Pasos :
Para hablar de mi trabajo hay que remontarse a los orígenes.
Años 70, con el inicio del arte fotográfico fino, el encuentro con los fotógrafos Ralph Gibson y Duane Michals ambos en la línea de demarcación, donde la realidad se vuelve abstracta.
Era por tanto hacia una creación diametralmente opuesta a la de la fotografía conceptual hacia la que me dirigía, una creación donde no hay diferencia entre el imaginario y la realidad. Decidí entonces que mis fotos no se mostrarán, no se explicarán, no se cuestionarán. Te abrirán las puertas a las emociones.
Me gusta citar a Gerhard Richter: "No obedezco a ninguna intención, ningún sistema, ninguna tendencia... Me gusta la incertidumbre, el infinito y la inseguridad permanente". Bio:
Aunque me interesé por la música desde muy joven a través del piano, siempre me sentí fotógrafo. Siempre una cuestión de perspectiva. Primero más del lado del blanco y negro que del color.
El encuentro con Helmut Newton, de quien fui asistente, me abrió las puertas al mundo de la moda donde hice carrera trabajando para las principales revistas de moda francesas e italianas.
Hoy la fotografía de artista visual ha reemplazado a la moda y ya no es en revistas sino en galerías francesas y extranjeras donde se exhibe mi trabajo.
