Biografía
James Sparshatt es un artista fotográfico británico que produce obras que capturan de manera espectacular la vitalidad y la intensidad emocional de la vida. Sus imágenes de la música y la danza se toman de los bares, calles y clubes de La Habana a Buenos Aires, de Sevilla a Nueva Orleans y más allá. Están llenos de movimiento, energía y emoción.
James ha realizado exposiciones individuales en Nueva York, San Antonio, Londres, Córdoba, La Habana y en todo el Reino Unido. Su trabajo se ha vendido a Art Hamptons, Art Chicago, Pulse Miami, Slick Paris y ferias de arte asequibles en Bruselas, Ámsterdam, Nueva York, Singapur, Los Ángeles, Londres, Estocolmo, Hamburgo y Milán. Su exposición Land of Spirit en el Royal National Theatre de Londres ha sido descrita en el Sunday Telegraph como "una deslumbrante colección de imágenes en blanco y negro ...".
Sus impresiones de platino paladio se producen en colaboración con el impresor especialista en platino Max Caffell de 31 Studio. 31 Studio son reconocidos como maestros de esta codiciada técnica de impresión. También son los impresores elegidos por Sebastiao Salgado, el dominio de Henri Lartigue y muchas otras luminarias de la fotografía.
James fue ganador de la Exposición Internacional en el Center for Fine Art Photography en Colorado, EE. UU., Preseleccionado para los Sony World Photographic Awards y finalista de los World Photography Gala Awards.
