Born in Milan Italy in 1980, Stefano Gardel is an award winning Fine Art Photographer based in Lugano Switzerland. His mysterious and fascinating photographs often depict lonely landscapes and gloomy urban scenes, where common and familiar sights take a unique perspective, acquiring a symbolic dimension. His work has been published and exhibited worldwide and sold exclusively as museum quality Fine Art prints.

"I don't shoot with the intent of faithfully representing reality, nor I shoot to document or shed light on a topic, being it social or environmental . My work is art based, researching shapes and colors that I deem to be aesthetically pleasing and using subjects that tend to create moods or suspended sensations. I use light, color and shapes to attune what I see on the outside to what I feel on the inside".
